The views are worth the reservation, the garden view is verdant and peaceful. The food was delicious and not as expensive as I expected. If you are into hot tea, definitely order it here. The tea stayed hot throughout breakfast and served four cups! Our waitress was good, no notes.

We have been here several times in the past and always had amazing experiences, but unfortunately, this most recent visit was a bit of a letdown. We drive an hour and a half to visit the Anderson Japanese Gardens and enjoy a great meal afterward. I am a foodie who appreciates everything from a spectacular street taco at a hole-in-the-wall to an upscale gourmet burger, so I was really looking forward to this. Sadly, the kitchen missed the mark on flavor this trip. To put it honestly, it felt like the food was intentionally under-seasoned, almost like it was dialed back to be as bland as possible. The chicken walnut salad was actually very good and a highlight of the meal. My wife ordered the Mahi tacos, which were just okay. The lack of robust seasoning made them taste quite bland, and they came with a standard side of chips. As for me, I had the surf and turf sliders. Save your time and just go with a standard burger instead. The mini burgers had no seasoning at all, and the two shrimp placed on top were decent but did not add anything to the overall flavor profile of the dish. I loved coming here. The matcha latte was AMAZING and the miso salmon was one if the best ways I've tried salmon. The lobster roll was great too. Prices were fair for the quality and flavor. They have fresh squeezed juice and a selection of mimosas too.

Overall, good experience. The potatos were awesome. Eggs were good. Bacon was good. Sausage was good. Pancakes and syrup were subtle in flavor. Steak and eggs were good and cooked as requested.
